Our role
Boat Insurance Match is a marketing and lead-matching service, not an insurance carrier, agency, producer, law firm, or financial adviser. Educational pages do not provide a quote, bind coverage, or replace policy documents or advice from a licensed professional.
Source standards
For registration, public safety, weather, and government requirements, we prioritize state and federal agencies. When a carrier or trade association is the original source of a benchmark, we identify the source, scope, and data year rather than presenting it as a universal market average.
Writing and review
Pages are organized around a real owner decision and reviewed for clarity, source support, internal consistency, and advertising disclosures. We distinguish general education from provider-specific underwriting and avoid promising a price, response, savings amount, or number of quotes.
Use of technology
Research and drafting tools may assist our editorial workflow. Every published page remains subject to human review for relevance, sourcing, duplication, unsupported claims, and compliance with this policy.
Updates and corrections
Pages display a review date when current facts matter. We re-check cited requirements and benchmarks during scheduled reviews or when a supported correction is received. To report an issue, identify the page, statement, and supporting source using the contact method in our Privacy Policy.
Commercial transparency
Boat Insurance Match may receive compensation when a request is delivered to or results in business for a participating provider. Compensation does not create an obligation to buy and does not change the facts a consumer submits.
